  "SAEPE EXPERTUS - SEMPER FIDELIS - FRATRES AETERNI"

"Often Tested                  Always Faithful             Brothers Forever"

"...WELCOME AND SEMPER FI!..."

For over 230 years Marines have served their Country with Honor and a steadfast Devotion to Duty.

Our members come from all walks of life with but one thing in common...

"They Are Marines!"

To all MCL members (past & present) of the HOT Detachment 975

The newly installed officers will be holding their first monthly meeting this Thursday at the MCL HQs building ( 3315 N15A St ).  One of our goals is to get our League’s retention, enrollment and participation back up.  We need your help to do this and we need your suggestions.

The primary purpose of this meeting is to hear from YOU.  What can we do to improve the League as a whole?  Please come out and give us some of your ideas on how we can accomplish this and we welcome any and all suggestions.  If you can’t make it to the meeting please email me any suggestions or ideas you have that we should consider.

A few other discussion points for the meeting will be;

1.                   MCL HQ’s building (maintenance and management)

2.                   HOT MCL golf tournament

 Thanks you and Semper Fi

 “Fundraising efforts for the National Museum of the Marine Corps continues and there are now many ways to participate in this great tribute to Marines.  The demand for inscribed “bricks” for inclusion on the walkway is great.  Anyone interested in having their name and unit perpetually exhibited should act quickly, as the bricks are going fast.  Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.  Additionally, increased interest in making donations through the use of Planned Giving and Will bequests is on the rise.   Visit the Foundations web site for additional information, or contact Ed Matricardi, at 703-569-7000 for additional information.”

"We sleep safely in our beds because there are those who stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."
